| Our Garden Show takes place at West Woodhay House, a beautiful Inigo Jones
building with extensive gardens that are not normally open to the public. The
last show was on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June 2007, preceded on the Friday evening by
an invitation-only Gala Evening. The 2007 show was a tremendous success - the
weather held off, our visitors enjoyed themselves enormously and a lot of money
was raised for our charities - and we will run the show again on the 20th and
21st June 2009, preceded by an invitation-only gala party on the evening of
19th June. |
| For 2009 we are being joined by
the
Berks, Bucks and Oxon area of
NAFAS, the National Association
of Flower Arranging Societies, which will hold its 2009 show at West Woodhay.
Additionally, Newbury Agricultural Society has arranged that its 100th
birthday balloon rally will also come to West Woodhay, we expect to see
around 100 trade stands again and we have no doubt at all that our
Art Show and other attractions will again be very successful. |
